Chainlink Oracles Showing Exchange Rates

  • cryptopticon

The Chainlink network is built to host blockchain agnostic oracles made to be tamper proof and used to reach consensus. Here is an example fluctations between cryptocurrency exchanges and how using a Chainlink oracle we can see how consensus is found for the price of Bitcoin based on 15 Oracles:

Oracles have been used since antiquity and the modern version provides security in transparency, administering, accepting and validating transactions, contracts and agreements, all of which should be open source and accountable to it’s users. Data is processed into information and the oracles position is to produce knowledge using immutable information, which is auditable, open source and leading to digital autonomy.
