Transferring domains between networks will be promote decentralization, it will be interesting to see how Unstoppable create a way of burning a token on one network and re-minting it on another this would retain the integrity and how this is done whilst maintain immutability is the challenge
Browsers supporting additional Unstoppable domain extensions include Brave and Opera who support the .crypto extension, with other domain require Cloudflare DNS or third-party browser extensions, neither of which promote increased adoption and ease of access. Making Web3 domains work on all modern web browsers by default will be key to seeing wide spread adoption
Polygon API
The L2 implementation brings more than fee-less crypto wallet management, it opens up connections into the Polygon network and Unstoppable Domains can be included in transactions, contracts and token management. Systems can be created where transactions are provided an immutable link that is easy to remember or equally as obfuscated. Developers on the Polygon network will have to Unstoppable domains through API call and end users can link to anything from crypto-wallets and two-step authenticator, to a single transaction ID or proof of purchase
